President, Max Agricultural Consultants
Max Jehle is president of Max Agricultural Consultants, an independent consulting firm. He earned his Master of Science in Integrated Pest Management from the University of California, Riverside and his Bachelors in Agricultural Biology in the early 1980s when Integrated Pest Management was just beginning to come of age. He has specialized in table grapes, citrus and blueberries. In the Central Valley of California, he has conducted research and developed pest management techniques working with some of the largest growers in the industry, and has constructed and managed insectaries to grow and release beneficial organisms. Max’s career has taken him around the world including living and working in Australia for 4 years as a roving agronomist for a large grape producer in that country. Max currently lives in Visalia, CA.
