Why did you launch GROWING INNOVATIONS?

The agricultural event space is really crowded and many sound very similar. However, GROWING INNOVATIONS is truly different. It was launched to serve a very specific industry need. The challenges facing specialty crop growers are huge and the landscape for these growers is changing at a very rapid pace. Thankfully, many new technologies, products, services and solutions are being developed by new companies to the ag space as well as new offerings from traditional ag suppliers. However, many of these tools and solutions are yet to be discovered, underutilized or misunderstood. GROWING INNOVATIONS is the place where top growers and other industry leaders convene to focus on the successful implementation of innovations to help reduce costs, increase yields and solve their most pressing and vexing problems.

GROWING INNOVATIONS was created to serve the needs of specialty crop growers of all types and sizes of farms in a time when the way they are doing business is changing very rapidly….technology, data, tariffs and trade disruptions, automation in farm management, robotics… Innovations are revolutionizing specialty agriculture and GROWING INNOVATIONS is the place where leading growers and their teams come to discover the industry’s latest developments, learn best practices and find new partners to lead their farms forward.

How many people attend GROWING INNOVATIONS?

With the very positive word-of-mouth generated by our debut and our very comprehensive attendee acquisition programs in full swing, GROWING INNOVATION’S attendance is expected to double in 2019.

The attendee acquisition program of GROWING INNOVATIONS is powered by Meister Media Worldwide and their unsurpassed coverage of all segments of specialty agriculture. What are the differences between the standard versus premium booth packages?

The differences include upgrades in the staging of your booth and your access to the full content of the conference.

The booth staging upgrades help your company stand out from the competition. They include a butcher-block table and wooden chairs which enhance your presence on the floor with a clean and elevated presentation. Also included is padding under your carpeting which adds immensely to making time on the floor more comfortable and productive.

Access to the full conference program (keynotes, all conference special focus sessions and the closing program) is also a major point of differentiation. The Premium package includes 2 full conference passes per 10 x 10 space. The standard 10 x 10 booth space package contains 2 passes for only the keynotes and closing sessions. Full conference passes are available for a discounted price of $810 each.

If you want to stand out, be more comfortable and productive and be fully informed on how growers are looking to move their farms forward, the premium package is right for your company.

What are GRO Talks and how do I apply?

GRO Talks are an innovative addition to the educational program at GROWING INNOVATIONS. Think “TED” talks for leading innovations for specialty Agriculture. GRO Talks are short, focused presentations from solution-providers on how their types of products and services are helping growers advance their farms. They are not sales pitches for specific products and services.

GRO Talk participants are carefully vetted. All contracted exhibitors are eligible to apply. Companies are selected by a panel of expert judges based on the quality, novelty and relevance of the proposed content of their talk. Preference is given to presenters who also bring an actual customer to provide their on-farm perspective and experience.  Diversity of topics is also managed to prevent oversaturation of any given product or service category.

GRO Talks proved to be one of the most popular elements in the debut of GROWING INNOVATIONS and facilitated many meaningful connections between growers and potential new supplier partners. There are only 22 slots for GRO Talks in the 2019 conference program and they are sure to sell out. Contracting your space and getting your GRO Talks application in early will definitely improve your odds of securing one of these coveted slots.

What is GRO NXT?

GRO NXT is a hub for innovators shaping advances in the specialty agriculture industry. GRO NXT is comprised of carefully vetted companies new to the ag space. They are well-funded, emerging solutions providers. Their pre-production to post-harvest products and services are farm-tested and are ready to help progressive growers transform their farms.

Farm of the Future is a new feature for GROWING INNOVATIONS in 2019. While the content of the conference program and show floor of GROWING INNOVATIONS are focused on helping growers evaluate, implement and benefit from the latest in farm-tested products, services and solutions, Farm of the Future provides a sneak peek at innovations that are a few years down the road. Farm of the Future is being launched in response to the requests of our 2018 attendees who thought a glimpse into a five-year horizon would be a valuable addition to the proven, on-farm focus of GROWING INNOVATIONS. Farm of the Future is designed to help growers anticipate how best to prepare to take advantage of the rapid changes that are sure to revolutionize specialty agriculture.
